a word

yet not only a word

an idea

yet not only an idea

a state of being

yet not only a state of being

freedom 

is not an endpoint

but a movement

not only a movement 

but an ever-changing collective action

no, not an action

but many actions

the actions of all of us

all who are 

fearless

passionate 

energetic

and perceptive enough to know

that freedom is not something we reach

but something we reach for

that it does not truly exist

for any of us

until it exists

for all of us
